Removal sequence: Starting with the
BarbLock™ assembly
While wearing your safety glasses...
- Place
the assembled BarbLock® between the jaws. (Diagram
A)
- Make sure the hooked portion of the upper jaw is sitting on top
of the sleeve. (Diagram A)
- Ensure the base of
the Sleeve is sitting in the dished portion of the lower jaw. (Diagram
A)
- Continue closing the pliers with a ratcheting motion until the
pliers is closed.
- When the pliers are fully closed, firmly grasp the
sides of the Sleeve with you free hand. (Diagram B)
- Wearing
a pair of gloves, safely peel off the Sleeve from the assembly and remove the
Collet.
- The Sleeve is made of polypropylene and should be disposed of
in the proper manner.
