Fluid Path Restriction

 When
you find that your fitting is restricting the flow of fluid because of a small
through hole f, increase your fitting size to match the ID of
the tubing e. It is not necessary to use a fitting with a oversized
barb, BarbLock will give you the retention you need with out overstressing the
tubing with oversize barbs. If you are not able to find a fitting with a less
aggressive barb simply increase the OD of the tube to accommodate the barb. Size
the BarbLock retainer according to the OD of the tube, this technique works extremely
well with low durometer tubing. | |
