The sample consists of 375 Series BarbLock® Retainers holding industrial grade
braided tubing onto brass multi tier barbed fittings. The test was designed to
understand the pull off strength of an assembly using repeated jolting pulls between
280 to 377 pounds with internal tube pressure of 200 PSI. Testing was stopped
after 25 cycles when the lining of the industrial braided tubing failed. The gages
represent the pressure applied to the cylinder of the pull testing devices i.e.,
(122 PSI x 2.357 Area = 287 PSI).
